How to Join and What Will You Gain?

The recruitment is currently open. You can join the association by filling out our recruitment form, based on which we will invite you to a short interview with us. If you're applying for an engineering position, take a look at the projects we've worked on or plan to work on in the PROJECTS section and let us know your preference. If you haven't decided yet or are applying for more administrative positions, we can discuss it together during the interview. Neither the form nor the interview are binding.

Czech Rocket Society is a great place to start real engineering work and gain skills that will surely stand out on your resume. Being a member of the association, however, does not only mean building rockets or conducting other research. You will also gain a great group of people,

How to Join the Association?

CHOOSE A POSITION

Rocket science is a very broad field that combines both aerospace, chemical, or electrical engineers as well as managers, graphic designers, or lawyers. Czech Rocket Society is a self-functioning association that is constantly evolving and looking for new members. Look below for a list of available positions. Even if you haven't chosen one, fill out the questionnaire anyway - we'll find a position for you together. We are still looking for engineers who want to build rockets. 🙂

FILL OUT THE QUESTIONNAIRE

The second step to becoming a member is to fill out a short questionnaire, which will tell us more about your motivation, your experience in the field of rockets or student competitions, your interests (even non-rocket-related), or your studies.

Interview

A friendly interview follows, which you don't need to be afraid of at all. We are also students, and it's an informal friendly conversation between people who share the same interest. During the interview, you will meet a member of the society’s leadership along with the project or department manager you would like to join. You can discuss all relevant questions with them.

Final stage

If the interview is successful, and both parties agree that you will become a member of the Czech Rocket Society, all you have to do is fill out and send back the signed application form, which we will send you. Then it's DONE. You will be added to our structure and platforms we use for work shortly. Then we can start moving the Czech Republic closer to space together!
