StarFox

The launch of the Starfox project marks a significant milestone in society's development. The project aims to build and test a liquid-fueled motor demonstrator, with the Feed, Thrust Chamber Assembly (TCA), and Electronics departments, led by the team manager and chief engineer, investigating the project's possibilities before moving on to the demonstrator's design and construction. The expected ignition is scheduled for May 2023.

CanSat 2023

In 2023, the CanSat team aims to innovate the Sherpa rocket from the previous year, focusing mainly on reusability, improving the robustness of all systems, and enhancing the payload space. Through an iterative development process which has proven successful in 2022, the team will enhance the rocket's capabilities to ensure 100% success in deploying its payload, while also providing live data and a video stream during flight. The CanSat finals will take place in spring 2023.

The solid fuel engine group, in addition to supplying engines for the Czech Rocket Challenge competition and the CanSat 2023 engine, will also focus on composite fuels, which are a logical step after the successful research of the commonly used KNSB fuel and (which) are necessary for planned thrust vectoring.

Avionics

This group focuses on the development of electronics or other avionics systems for projects such as Starfox or CanSat '23. An all-in-one solution will be developed that can be implemented with minor modifications into any project, saving significant time and resources. Additionally, the group will focus on rocket flight control, navigation, and operation.

Recovery

The development of parachutes and rescue systems will be the responsibility of a separate Recovery group. The in-depth research and development of a scalable and customisable two-stage parachute is one of the main objectives of this group. The group will continue to research parachute deployment and oscillation reduction during descent.
