A student initiative for astronautics in Czechia
The Czech Rocket Society is a student association focused on astronautics and rockets, connecting technical education with practical experience. Its goal is to enable university students not only to apply their knowledge, but also to independently create, experiment, and grow. The association takes a comprehensive approach to astronautics – it also addresses legal issues, education, and organizes the Czech Rocket Challenge competition for high school and university students.
Inspired by international peers, with a vision for the future
The association was inspired by student clubs abroad, particularly in England and the Netherlands, where similar initiatives have a long tradition and strong support. The Czech Rocket Society was introduced in March 2021 and quickly gained significant support from Czech students. Since then, it has been building infrastructure, planning participation in European competitions, and aims to bring Czechia closer to active involvement in international astronautics.
